Art4Health Campaign is an art auction and exhibition to finance the Cancer & Chronic Care Fund created by Health4Moni, a social enterprise that provides affordable and quality health to low-income, informal sector Nigerians.
Since 2021, we set out to fix the problem of unaffordable healthcare and recently we created Health4Moni that allows low & middle-income, everyday Nigerians have affordable health insurance coverage via ₦200 daily contributions, so they can seek medical care without fear of fiancial risk or burden.
The outcome of this innovation has been phenomenal with almost 1,000 users and we recently won the Bayer Foundation Award for our innovation in healthcare. However, we realised that the typical health insurance does not protect against chronic illnesses such as cancer, sickle cell, kidney disease, etc.
This is why we created Art4Health Campaign to finance the Cancer and Chronic Care Fund via art sales and exhibition.
The goal of the Cancer and Chronic Care Fund (CCCF)is to provide preventive, management and treatment support to low and middle income average Nigerians with chronic illnesses.
This is our hypothesis, living with a chronic illness is already hard work, worrying about finances to get treatment shouldn't be another burden.
Through the Art4Health Campaign and our network of partners, we can provide financial (chronic care health insurance coverage, copayment aid) and psychological support to chronically sick average Nigerians through the continuum of care.
